  Business Ethics is studied at three levels: Systemic ,Corporate and Individual

Individual Ethics is more concerned with Moral reasoning, wherein actions are judged with reference to moral standards. It involves knowledge of moral standard and knowing whether situation needs the application of moral standards or not.

Ethicist suggests five characteristics to identify moral standards.

Moral standards deal with matters which people think can seriously injure or seriously benefit human beings.

Moral standards are not established or changed by political or legal authoritative bodies. Moral standards are impartial. Moral standards are associated with special emotions.
